Join the team
We are looking for students who care about high-performance computing, systems optimization and parallel programming. No supercomputing experience required, from any department and any year.
What we look for
- Interest in high-performance computing, systems optimization and parallel programming
- A solid programming foundation (C/C++, CUDA, Python or similar)
- Picks up new technology quickly and is not afraid of hard problems
- Works well in a team
What you do not need
- Supercomputing experience. We train from scratch.
- A computer science major. Physics, mathematics, chemical engineering and astronomy students have all been members.
- Seniority. First-years through graduate students are welcome.

Recruitment happens every autumn semester. Watch the news, follow the team’s WeChat account, or contact the faculty advisors directly.
Outside the recruiting season, if you are interested in a research collaboration, reach out any time. The team’s open-source code is on GitHub at thu-scc.
